Nu school jazz-funksta, Soopasoul (aka Danny Hybrid) unleashes the fourth single titled 'Do Me Wrong' from his highly acclaimed album 'Twin Stix' on Jalapeno Records. Danny and his fabulous live band deliver some serious ass shakin bizniss, rammed to the rafters with funky breaks, a plethora of infectious brass, complete with a firey vocal from soul sista Sitzka who waxes lyrical with a story of heartbreak. Soopasoul is a band where everything is played live, where loops and plug-ins are dropped in favour of a drum kit, guitars and bass and a funky horn section so steeped in tradition that you can feel the real deal being played out in front of your ears! Danny's output came to the attention of Jalapeno Records boss Trevor Mac who snapped up Soopasoul for an album deal. 'Twin Stix' which was unleashed in early 2009, including 3 single releases - 'Brand Nu', 'Swing Down', and 'Hot & Cold' ft. Dionne Charles, all causing a storm on dancefloors Worldwide. Supporters include Craig Charles (BBC 6), Andy Smith, Danny Krivit, Ashley Beedle and many more, all embracing the special Soopasoul recipe for pure Soulfood! On the brand new single 'Do Me Wrong' Danny teams up with Dutch diva Sitzka, who has previously lent her incredible vocal talents to Dr Rubberfunk (Jalapeno), Jagged Soul, Chocolate Puma, Soulsurvivors and more.. indeed a vocal force to be reckoned with!
