Kraak & Smaak burst onto the airwaves once again in 08 with their killer single "Squeeze Me" featuring the vocal talents of the Bristol hitman Ben Westbeech, proving a big hit on Radio One. To follow that up the band are releasing the title track from their album "Plastic People" Featuring the vocal talents of Bobby NiO it was co-written with Mark Brydon from Moloko - a friend of the band. It shows a different and darker side to Kraak & Smaak born out of playing to big crowds on the European Festival circuit but retains the trademark K&S funk that is the key to all their releases. Mixes come from Swiss deep house don Deetron whose "i cling" track has been a favourite with everyone from techno DJ's to Gilles Peterson and finally All Good Funk Alliance who provide a rolling breakbeat mix for the Jalapeno faithful. Also included in the package is a club mix of California Roll a deep house highlight from the K&S album. Kraak & Smaak will be showcasing their album at a number of key European Festivals. In the UK they will be playing Glastonbury, Bloom, Lovebox and Big Chill as wellas European Festivals like Lowlands, 10 days off and Sziget.
