"No Sun in the Sky" is the latest single to be dropped from Kraak & Smaak’s debut album Boogie Angst and talk about saving the best till last. With a white hot remix package and some serious heat surrounding their live shows, the release of this single ends 06 in block rocking style and kicks off 07 exactly as we mean to go on. DJ Kicks hot shot Henrik Schwarz leads the charge with a 7 minute deep house extravaganza that climaxes with the lush chords of the original - can this man do no wrong?. Tom Belton, fresh from mixing Jamiroquai and Coldcut turns out a melodic main room house mix. Finally, Noogman (actualluy an alter ego of the K&S boys) is a heavy breaks mix with a superb funk guitar breakdown - destined to be a hit on the floor. Kraak & Smaak have made 2006 their year with the album being released across Europe, the US, Japan and Australia. Their live show was the talk of ADE 06 where they played a sell out hometown show. They have toured extensively, rocked numerous festivals and had their videos all over MTV and Youtube as well as being selected as one of only twelve acts to have their videos pre-loaded on Microsoft’s new ipod rival the Zune player.

…deep and graceful number from the cheeky Dutch trio and comes with a whole heap of srellar remixes from the likes of Jjenrik Schwarz, Tom Belton and the Finnish wunderkid Infekto - Kid Kenobi IDJ

The original is nice and deep….I like the use of the synth on the Henrik Swarz remix too. The Tom Belton remix is nice and funky and the Infekto mix is great - IDJ

Spine-tingling, emotive and deeper than a bottmless pit sponsored by Foucault...simply beautiful - Larry Nelson IDJ
